Mount House

Digg & Co.’s first commission was a blank canvas with potential to create a wildlife haven in the center of a busy village in the Green Belt. Being surrounded by houses, it was imperative to make the garden feel like a sanctuary. Lying on the chalk seam that runs from Devon to Norfolk, the planting had to respond to this. As well as chalk, the area is one of the driest in the country creating interesting limitations to the planting palette available.
